Comparison of left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony parameters between exercise and adenosine triphosphate stress tests using gated single-photon emission computed tomography myocardial perfusion imaging

چکیده
Background: Left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony (LVMD) can be induced after stress test. However, no studies have compared the influence of different stress‑inducing methods on LVMD parameters. Aims: The aim study was to determine whether there is a difference between exercise and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) tests in terms changes parameters assessed using gated single‑photon emission computed tomography myocardial perfusion imaging (GSPECT MPI). Methods: A total of190 patients who underwent 99mTc ‑sestamibi GSPECT MPI were consecutively enrolled. Treadmill ATP performed 95 each. Normal defined as summed score (SSS) ≤3 rest (SRS) ≤3, ischemia SSS >3 SRS infarction >3. Parameters LVMD, including phase standard deviation (PSD), bandwidth (PBW), skewness, kurtosis compared. Subtraction made values during phases acquire ∆PSD, ∆PBW, ∆skewness, ∆kurtosis Results: There differences groups. same results obtained normal perfusion, ischemia, subgroups. Furthermore, observed ∆PSD (median [interquartile range, IQR], 0.25 [–2.3 3.1] vs 0.42 (–1.7 3.1]; P = 0.73), ∆PBW [IQR], 1 [–7 11] [–6 11]; 0.95), ∆skewness (mean [SD], –0.06 [0.63] 0 [0.81]; 0.53), –0.47 [–4.2 4.3] –0.42 [–4.8 5.2]; 0.73) methods. Conclusions: are Thus, 2 used alternatively.

متن کاملPhase analysis of gated myocardial perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography compared with tissue Doppler imaging for the assessment of left ventricular dyssynchrony.
OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to compare left ventricular (LV) dyssynchrony assessment by gated myocardial perfusion single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) (GMPS) and tissue Doppler imaging (TDI). BACKGROUND Recently, it has been suggested that LV dyssynchrony is an important predictor of response to cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT); dyssynchrony is predominantly...
متن کاملPrediction of Changes in Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction after Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery by Myocardial Perfusion Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography
Introduction: Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) is considered to be the single most important prognostic factor in patients with previous myocardial infarction. LVEF is not improved in all patients after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). This study aimed to assess the possibility of prediction of LVEF changes after CABG using myocardial perfusion gated signle photon emission compu...
متن کاملStress-first single photon emission computed myocardial perfusion imaging
BACKGROUND Myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) with single photon emission tomography (SPET) is widely used in coronary artery disease evaluation. Recently major dosimetric concerns have arisen. The aim of this study was to evaluate if a pre-test scoring system could predict the results of stress SPET MPI, thus avoiding two radionuclide injections. METHODS All consecutive patients (n=309) unde...
